Melody has 20 years of experience in Social Work. While most of her practice has been based in Singapore, her work also included community extension services to far-flung areas in the Philippines.

Melody is equipped with extensive experience in health and community settings dealing with clients from all walks of life including families battling chronic illness and youths confronting economic, emotional and social issues.

In her practice, Melody employs a wide range of knowledge and awareness of social issues in the Asian context. She has excellent people engagement skills and is highly esteemed for her ethical conduct and practice. She believes that every person can develop and change if equipped with the right tools and given equal opportunities with lots of support and encouragement to make the first step.

Melody was previously head of the Social Work Department in Club Rainbow (Singapore). She has a Master of Social Work.
